“Working as a Research Assistant for the Institute of Cornish Studies at the University of Exeter was a very engaging and enjoyable experience. I got the opportunity to review cutting-edge research from academics surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, looking to build a response and recovery for the socioeconomic profile of Cornwall. Working with my team was engaging with regular updates and meetings, and we worked efficiently and creatively to produce an evaluated report for recommendations. The opportunity to join Local Enterprise Partnerships to seek their perspectives was also thought-provoking and an excellent opportunity to see the impact of the University on the local economy and community. ”
