What I liked

High quality productive environment with people working on all kinds of hard problems. Superb opportunity to get to know what is going on at the frontier of digital transformation. Great to see exemplar leadership and communication, while trusting employees with power to make their own decisions.

What I wish was different

For FDSE roles in particular, the nature of engineering problems becomes limited. Depending on the impl, FDSEs may also experience different blockers in moving projects forward, even though we are a fast-paced company.

Advice

Be self-driven and display a strong sense of ownership, but ask a lot of questions. Many things in this company are dynamic and ever-changing. This means that everyone, including interns, is required to overcome uncertainty. If you see something, do whatever you can to solve it - don't rely on other people to do things for you.
