The whole team was extremely welcoming and supportive, so I felt like I always had someone to turn to when I was stuck. I had regular one-to-one meetings with my supervisor. I also felt like I was learning new things everyday, which was very exciting!
What I wish was different
A very minor thing, but I do wish that there had been a bit more training or explanation about certain tasks at the beginning, as I remember feeling like I was being thrown in the deep end. However, I also really appreciated the freedom and independence my team gave me.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask questions about things you don’t understand - the team would much rather you asked for clarification on things instead of guessing and doing it wrong!
