At Ashgrove Furnishings you will carry out a variety of different jobs, meaning every day is different. You will learn many new things such as website management and how to upkeep a social media presence. I love being able to schedule different posts on all the social media platforms that Ashgrove Furnishings use, as it lets me show my creative abilities. I also enjoy creating Ads and designing posters for the business.
What I wish was different
Throughout my placement there is nothing I would change. The staff at Ashgrove Furnishings are all so kind and welcoming. The tasks I have been given are all very enjoyable and have therefore helped me to learn so many new skills.
Advice
If I could give anyone a piece of advice for applying to this placement it would be to make sure you are open minded to learning new tasks and learning what the world of digital marketing entails. You will learn a lot of things from this placement role that University’s just couldn’t teach you and getting experience in the world of work is a key thing to progressing.
