FIVE MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN SHANGHAI

SHANGHAI MEIJI CULTURE COMMUNICATIONS 

Our company specializes in assisting foreign teachers and interns on pursuing a teaching career in China. We bring over 300+ teachers and interns every year and place them to international primary schools, kindergartens and language centers schools to teach subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General science, History, Arts, Economics, computer science & ICT and so on, primarily to teach in the cities of Shanghai and Beijing.

This program is designed for individuals who would like practicum experience in home tutoring while traveling and learning a new culture. This internship allows you to experience actual ESL and Subject teaching without making a long term commitment until you are ready to pursue a teaching career abroad. Our team is ready to offer you support throughout your internship!

REQUIREMENTS:

-A valid passport
-No previous teaching experience necessary;
-Deliver 14 hours tutoring classes a week
-In good health condition – duly filled up health checklist (checklist will be provided by Shanghai Meiji) -DBS police certificate/Non-criminal record certificate
-TEFL 120-hours certificate

ARRIVAL SUPPORT:

-Airport Pick-Up.
-New Chinese SIM Card assistance. -Escorted to your accommodation.

TRAINING AND PLACEMENT:

-Orientation and meet the staff of Shanghai Meiji.
-Attend training with our professional staff trainer in preparation for interviews and demos, which most schools will require.
-Provide continuous training and teaching tips throughout internship.

SKILLS:

1) Native level English speaker (with TEFL or TESOL is an advantage) 2) Friendly and adventurous!
3) Passionate about teaching young learners.
4) Patient and hard working.

BENEFITS:

1) Free shared accommodation throughout internship will be provided.
2) Interns shall receive a monthly living allowance of 5,000 CNY.
3) 4,000 CNY air ticket allowance will be provided upon completion of the internship program. 4) Reference letters shall be provided by the end of the internship.
5) Free mandarin Chinese classes (40 hours, 1 to 1 classes Online or Offline).
