Designer (Student Placement)
Starting in July 2023, we are seeking Undergraduate students who are creative, innovative, and highly organized who are currently studying a relevant qualification. This is an opportunity for the successful students to develop their skills as they seek to begin their career in Design.
The successful candidates will play a key role within our Design Department working as part of our team of Designers and Project Managers. They will be provided with practical design work and assigned to bespoke projects to produce concept, development, and production drawings for clients and our inhouse workshop team.
Applicants must be currently studying a relevant degree such as Product Design and should be an articulate, creative, yet critical, thinker and problem solver with strong technical ability with a willingness to learn various design techniques/tools.
A successful application will have some basic understanding for 2D and 3D modelling packages such as AutoCAD, Solidworks Revit and BIM. Experience would be preferred in one or more of these fields but not required.
You should have strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidates will be provided with in house training, coaching, and mentoring to provide the successful candidate with the skills to succeed.
