Cross Border Ecommerce - Business Intelligence
The Cross Border team at Shopee empowers sellers from all over the world to sell into the Southeast Asia and Taiwan region. The team helps sellers to market their products across the 7 markets and provide enabling services such as cross border logistics, operations, payments, product related services, overseas warehouse fulfillment and business intelligence.
Job Description:
- Consolidate and review key sales performance on a daily basis
- Consulting with internal customers (e.g. Operation, Marketing, etc) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights that ensure profitability and stability of the products
- Collect data from multiple sources including operation, marketing and sourcing databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
- Working with several large and complex SQL databases
- Designing and building reports and analyses in Excel
- Designing and building interactive BI tools for easier data visualization
Requirements:
- Good degree from recognized university
- 3+ years working experience in business analyst related roles
- Proficient in SQL & Python
- Strong analytical skill and sensitivity to data
- Strong oral and written communication skill
- Creative and innovative approach to solving problems
- Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Work well with cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment
- Experience in business intelligence in e-commerce is a plus
- Experience in constructing business intelligence tools is a plus
