Summer Internship 2026 London

Spend your summer in the world’s largest fund! This internship is the key entry point to the graduate program.

Our summer internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Norges Bank Investment Management – the largest and most transparent sovereign wealth fund in the world.

What will you do?

From day one, you will dive into meaningful work and contribute to the biggest fund in the world.

During the internship you receive an introduction to the organisation, your own project within a specific department, either individually or in teams. A dedicated manager and buddy will support and guide you throughout your project. There are many development opportunities such as a lunchtime lecture series from top professionals, interaction with top management and access to the newest AI capabilities. Plus: You become part of culture that nurtures employees having fun at work!

Our summer internship lasts for eight weeks between June and August 2026, and it is based in London. At the end of your internship, and if eligible, you will be invited to apply for the Graduate program for 2027. 

Who are you?

We are looking for students from a wide range of academic disciplines who are AI savvy, curious, take charge of their own development, and are motivated by working in an international environment.

Application process

When applying: 

  • Fill in a structured CV form. Complete all sections of the structured CV form diligently and ensure that all necessary information is provided.
  • Provide a short cover letter.  
  • Answer a few questions.
  • Other relevant documents, such as transcripts and diplomas can be uploaded and are welcome.

All applications will be considered and reviewed after the application deadline has passed. If successful, you can expect to be contacted for a virtual interview during week 44 or 45.

Employment with Norges Bank is conditional on an approved security check in accordance with Norges Bank’s policies. This process may include criminal background and credit checks, verification of employment history, and academic record verification. Completion and approval of these checks are required before an employment offer is finalized.

Salary

This position offers a competitive annual salary of 49 000 GBP.
