The Role

As Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate and oversee digital forensic casework across our organisation. Working with Lab Managers, Case Teams, and the Digital Forensic Services Manager, you’ll ensure resources are used effectively, performance targets are met, and systems are continuously improved. This role is key to maintaining our high standards and compliance with ISO 17025 and FSR Codes.

Key Responsibilities

•             Manage casework allocation and monitor progress to meet deadlines and SLAs

•             Lead weekly performance reviews and address delivery risks

•             Track key metrics (e.g. turnaround time, analyst output, utilisation rates)

•             Maintain visibility of caseloads and forecasts using case management tools

•             Drive improvements in workflows, systems, and operational efficiency

•             Support team wellbeing in high-pressure environments

•             Monitor KPIs and ensure audit readiness and quality compliance

•             Collaborate on strategic planning and cross-functional projects

What You’ll Bring

•             Experience in operations or workflow management (forensic or regulated environments preferred)

•             Strong analytical and organisational skills

•             Familiarity with forensic tools, case management systems, and quality standards

•             Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive change

•             Willingness to travel nationally as required
