Team Description

The Clearlake Credit Investor Relations Team is focused on projects relating to multiple aspects of the business: 

  • Investor relations: managing all aspects of a fundraising process (due diligence questionnaires, marketing materials, coordination with legal, compliance, finance and operations teams), ownership of investor queries, working with the fund distribution teams and producing educational output to promote the firm.
  • Client services: maintaining relationships with existing investors and responding to any ongoing or ad hoc queries. 
  • Fund optimisation: fund return models, financing facilities, ad-hoc analysis.
  • Product development and strategy: developing new strategies for the business including fund formation.

This role will be focused on the client services and fund optimisation aspect of the team. It offers the opportunity to learn about different areas of the private credit market and business whilst providing an introduction to investor relations. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the team during fundraising activities, including preparation of marketing materials (e.g., factsheets), working on due diligence questionnaires, request for proposals and assisting on investor queries 
  • Conducting numerical analysis of fund performance and maintaining various databases relevant to creating marketing materials
  • Help create and update presentations and other investor reports
  • Support the team in maintaining the CRM and keeping databases up to date to run ad-hoc analysis
  • Monitoring of the competitive environment and market developments 

 

Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in additional languages is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. 
  • High attention to detail, ability to focus and take ownership of tasks.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to change directions quickly.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong team player.
  • Takes ownership for the completion of work in accordance with agreed processes and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • 5-days/week in the office
