ABOUT US

The Anne and Claude Berda Foundation was established in 2022 within a Single-Family Office based in Geneva. Its mission is to accelerate the development of innovative entrepreneurial projects in the field of health, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative diseases and brain tumors.

With a unique venture philanthropy model in Europe, the Foundation operates at the crossroads of strategic philanthropy and impact investing, through:

  • Early-stage funding for high-potential projects in medical research,
  • Strategic investments in health-focused venture capital funds.

As part of the launch of a new hybrid initiative, combining two complementary vehicles (a for-profit investment vehicle and a non-profit philanthropic structure), we are seeking an intern or work-study analyst to support the strategic and operational structuring of this ambitious project.

  • Support dealflow monitoring and opportunity analysis,
  • Contribute to the implementation of tracking tools and dashboards (KPIs, reporting),
  • Review and analyze financial documents (reports, cap tables, forecasts…).

2. Structuring & Operations

  • Assist in the legal and operational structuring of the hybrid initiative,
  • Support budget tracking in coordination with the external accountant and admin team,
  • Liaise with external providers (payment services, administrators, legal advisors, etc.).

3. Strategic Communication

  • Contribute to the preparation of professional documents (pitch decks, institutional reports, memos),
  • Participate in the update of the Foundation’s website and the design of a dedicated site for the new vehicle,
  • Support external communication efforts with partners, investors, and ecosystem players.

  • Final-year student (Master’s level) in business school, engineering school, or university,
  • Specialization in corporate finance, strategy or life sciences,
