About the role
We are excited to be looking for two Graduates to join our People (HR) Function. This is an opportunity to gain a true breadth and depth of experiences and take accountability from day one. You'll join a People team that is at the heart of our business, and with huge ambitions it is a really great time to join the HR team at Boots.
Key responsibilities
As a Graduate in the People Function you'll impact key moments in the employee lifecycle. From recruitment to development, to progression, from reward and recognition, to employee relations cases…you will be there to support, ensuring our team members feel engaged and valued for what they do.
Our programme offers a unique blend of learning, combining face-to-face and digital modules with practical on-the-job experiences to support personal and professional development. The programme is carefully designed to help you to develop skills, knowledge and provides all the stretch and challenge needed to accelerate a career at Boots.
When you join us, you have a place in either:
- Our Centres of Expertise teams which include Talent & Capability or The People Services Team (Reward & Benefits, Payroll, HR Delivery).
Or
- Our Field and Support Office Partnering Teams.
What you'll need to have
- Must be on track or have achieved a 2:1 degree (or higher)
It would be great if you also have
- A desire to solve problems and see them through to resolution
- Strong organisational skills and capable of being a part of multiple workstreams
- An ability to challenge processes / figures and deliver efficiencies
- An ability to work well as part of a team, and be able to build effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A drive for self-development and growth
