German Content Proofreader

Our client  - a leading vision care specialist - is on the lookout for dynamic and detail-oriented German speaking CMS Content Specialist  to join their team during an exciting phase of web migration across multiple markets.

You'll be contributing to the migration & testing phase of our new website platform to ensure good performance and functionality and a seamless transition for our users in both Germany and Netherlands.


Responsibilities:

  • Content uploading & editing: Accurate uploading and editing of content within our CMS tool that manages how and what content is displayed on our websites.
  • Functional testing: Conduct rigorous testing of the website's functionalities with a focus on content, including but not limited to the ordering process, the navigation, hyperlinks and overall user experience.
  • Detail-oriented checks: Check every detail to ensure correctness, consistency and completeness across all pages, including reporting bugs and re-testing once fixed by wider technical team.
  • User experience assessment: Evaluate and report on the smoothness of user interactions, identifying and flagging any issues that may hinder a positive user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the web migration team to provide timely feedback and insights.




Skills/Experience Required:
 

  • Attention to detail: A meticulous eye for detail is crucial for this role to ensure the accuracy of content and functionality.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable navigating and testing websites; familiarity with common web platforms.
  • Problem-solving: Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and address potential issues during the testing phase.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively and provide clear, concise feedback.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving tasks and challenges during the testing process.
  • Language: Must be fluent in German and English is required. A basic level of Dutch would also be preferential but not essential.



Location: London, UK with 2 days in our head office in High Street Kensington
