Delivery Advisor
We are running an information session where prospective applicants can find out more about the role. This will be hosted by the Performance Team, and will take place on:
- Wednesday 13 November, 13:00 - 13:30
The session will be an opportunity to hear more about the role, the team and wider directorate and the department. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
Please register your interest by filling out this form and you will be sent an invitation.
The successful candidate can expect to develop extensive knowledge of projects within the People and Operations Committee (POpCo) and Deliver & Risk Committee (DRC) portfolios, tracking performance, managing working relations with project teams, providing advice and support and reporting back on key performance metrics to senior leaders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relations with individual project leads and teams, acting as a “critical friend”, and can also expect to support the G7 lead on commissioning and interrogating information from project leads and presenting key headlines to POpCo, and working with analytical colleagues to develop products to improve reporting.
The candidate will lead on key reporting on behalf of the Department to central Government through the Government Reporting Integration Platform, and leading on key commissions such as the Outcome Delivery Plan and the DCMS Annual Report.
The Performance Unit is at the forefront of cross-Government plans for Modernisation and Reform, so the candidate can expect to get involved in drafting and coordinating briefings with input from across the Department, often on an ad hoc basis and at considerable pace.
