Communications Intern – Placement/Graduate Opportunity

Our agricultural business includes the manufacture of combine harvesters, balers, grape harvesters, and of course, multi-purpose tractors with various engine powers. Tractors from our medium range (100-210 hp) are assembled at our headquarters for the New Holland brand in Basildon, England.

 

Basic function:

CNH is seeking an Intern to support its Corporate Communications central office based in Basildon. We are looking for dynamic trainee who can help develop and grow our diversified portfolio of Communications tools.

In this role, the individual will assist in producing and developing a range of print and digital assets which can be used to promote CNH, its Brands and initiatives to a broad and varied spectrum of external stakeholders.

The individual will work closely with the Company’s Corporate Communications team, Brands, Businesses and Corporate Functions to leverage current activities and seek opportunities for future development. This is a “junior” position for someone who is proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic. The candidate should be highly proficient in written English.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support preparation of articles and the development of Company’s key publications.
  • Support the preparation of other communication assets such as presentations, slides, leaflets, ADV pages and other digital tools in line with Corporate Identity of the Company
  • Support the editorial workflow, revising drafts and overall layout for external and internal use
  • Liaise with relevant Brands marketing functions to support the collection of info and development of activities.

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • Good PowerPoint presentation knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Copywriting/editorial background, an advantage

Location: Basildon (approx. 2 days a week)
