Wishmore Cross Academy is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our dedicated team as an Administration Officer.
You’re someone who’ll be able to:
- Be the welcoming face of the academy, providing a professional and comprehensive reception service to visitors and staff.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and post, ensuring effective communication within the academy and with external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate student and staff records using the Academy Management System.
- Coordinate admissions and exits, ensuring a smooth transition for new students and staff members.
- Support the academy's commitment to safeguarding by ensuring all visitors follow safeguarding procedures.

You’re someone who has:
- Excellent written and verbal English skills, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently.

Wishmore Cross Academy provides a supportive and tailored environment for boys aged 7 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. With a capacity of 82 pupils, the school maintains small class sizes, allowing for close, individualized attention. The campus features expansive grounds, including a school field and orchard, home to the ‘Tree for Life’ project. Facilities also include a therapy suite staffed by a play therapist, speech and language therapist, and occupational therapist, as well a soft play zone, climbing wall, and sensory spaces to help students regulate and engage in learning.
