Direct Marketing Account Manager

First Move Direct Marketing provide one to one, personal marketing campaigns through print media. 

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our client services team. The role entails managing your own set of new clients. This begins with taking the clients brief, through to liasing with internal departments such as data and production, to ensure clients projects are completed on time and within budget. 

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the smooth passage of clients work through Firstmove.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Take client briefs and working with internal and external partners, build production schedules.
  • Using knowledge of Print and Postal industries, process work in the most economical way for both Firstmove and its clients.
  • Provide regular reports for management on client contacts and monthly forecasting.
  • To work well alongside other departments including Production and IT.
  • To work within First Move Quality Management System 
  • Take an active role in the sales process with potential and lapsed clients.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of artwork, pre-press and repro procedures an advantage
  • Passionate about managing clients and building excellent relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability and confidence to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions
  • Effective problem-solving
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet customer deliveries
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
