Instructors:

All NOVA instructors are fluent speakers of the language that they teach. Some begin their NOVA careers with previous experience as educators and some with no prior teaching experience. Regardless, every instructor completes a comprehensive training program before they start teaching for NOVA. The program equips them with everything they need to be able to teach high-quality lessons and provide excellent customer service. All NOVA instructors are committed to meeting and exceeding student expectations and supporting student progress toward the achievement of their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Selecting, planning, and conducting lessons for kids and adults
  • Monitoring student performance and reporting on student progress
  • Performing demonstration lessons and level assessments for new or potential students
  • Promoting available products and services
  • Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment

Eligible Candidates:

  • University Graduate, Licensed Teacher, ESL Instructor

School Requirements:

  • Education Required: Bachelor
  • Work Visa Eligibility: United States (USA), United Kingdom (UK), Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Malawi

Qualifications:

  • Degree Holder
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Full English education (Primary - University)
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Must have the financial capability to support themselves for the first few weeks upon arrival in Japan before the first paycheck is issued. We recommend having a minimum of 200,000 Yen (1,300 USD) as initial funds to cover living expenses, accommodation, and other essentials. This can be discussed further in the interview.
