Salary: Qualified* up to £41,707

Unqualified up to £33,041 per annum

About the team 

Our successful college at Stansted Airport opened in September 2018.

The College is a partnership between London Stansted Airport and Harlow College – the first of its kind at any airport in the country.  The centre has purpose built, industry standard facilities providing training for over 500 young people per year. 

 

About the role

This full time, permanent position for a qualified teacher who will be responsible for ensuring all our trainees have an enjoyable, safe and enriching experience whilst at college. As well as supporting trainees with non-course related queries and their well-being you will also be responsible for planning and delivering tutorials, providing IAG to all the learners on the site, planning the cover rota, covering classes where required and leading on cross college projects and initiatives.   This role requires an experienced teacher who is flexible and pro-active to meet the needs of the college and its students.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified teacher status at Level 4 or above
  • Have or work towards a level 3 safeguarding qualification
  • Experience of delivering IAG
  • Previous experience of working in an educational setting 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver learning sessions, projects and co-ordinate events 
  • A relevant first aid qualification
