Why be a Graduate Ecommerce Executive at THG? 

As part of the programme you will be enrolled into two 6-month rotations across Ecommerce and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) to give you an opportunity to experience different areas of the Division and to enhance your skillset.  

Using analytics tools and our in-house reporting platform, our Graduate Ecommerce Executive’s gain an understanding of the customer journey and how to optimise sales, measure performance, and define strategy.  

Ecommerce Rotation:  

  • Work directly with senior leaders to learn the art of ecommerce trading.  
  • Build and manage trading calendars and execute website updates to ensure KPI's are being achieved.  
  • Use analytics and our in-house reporting platform to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey, to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy.    
  • Monitor key site metrics including GP, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV, Exit Rates, Traffic (new and returning) etc.    
  • Strategically plan and execute new product launches, promotional campaigns and support the execution of marketing plans.  
  • Be responsible for weekly and monthly reporting against team KPI’s as well as forecasting for stock.  
  • Share valuable insights on customer behaviour and trends using our in-house data & technology platform.    
  • Work collaboratively with the digital marketing team to identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic to the brands websites as well as developing and improving traffic from existing channels.    
  • Monitor conversion of key landing pages to improve where necessary  
  • Calculate commercials for onsite promotions to ensure GP targets are met .  

 

CRO Rotation:  

  • Working within the CRO team you will learn about tracking customer experiences across online channels, devices, third-party tools and payment types.  
  • Collaborating with our tech developers, as well as the product, marketing, and trading teams to enhance customer funnels and customer success metrics.  
  • Support the team in aligning customer experience strategies with marketing initiatives as well as informing customers about new product features and functionalities. Engaging team members to suggest relevant localised or category tests.   
  • Identifying customer website needs and taking proactive steps to maintain positive experiences and checkout goals.   
  • Using customer data and competitor analysis looking at buying behaviours and patterns such as clicks to customers to inform what good acquisition looks like to maximise ROI.    
  • Analysing traffic patterns and customer feedback on product ranges and new releases, as well as preparing reports.  
  • Analysing customer interactions via both qualitative and quantative means to understand their behaviour and to assess the longer-term value of a customer to include CLV calculation.   

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • An ambitious graduate looking to start work after graduation in Summer 2025.  
  • Degree in a commercial focussed role (business, economics, marketing etc.) 
  • Commercially astute, ambitious and collaborative individuals who are hungry for success and genuine responsibility.   
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build solid relationships both internally and externally.   
  • Strong passion for  Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, as well as good organisational skills.   
  • A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to manage their time effectively. 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics would be beneficial but full support will be provided.
