Business Development & Marketing Executive

Term: Permanent role - 6 month probationary period

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Liverpool, UK (Flexible hybrid- 3 days a week in Baltic Triangle based office )

Already implemented and used by brands such as the Grosvenor group, SumVvivas is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Marketing Executive to support them along their journey.

 

Role Overview

The Business Development & Marketing Executive reporting directly to the directors of Sum Vivas, will be responsible for driving business growth through targeted marketing strategies and proactive sales efforts. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and supporting the overall sales strategy of Sum Vivas Ltd. The individual will develop and implement marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, engage in direct outreach, and play a key role in converting leads into customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Development:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct direct outreach to prospects via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Assist in negotiations and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide support in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications.

 

Marketing Execution:

  • Plan, create, and execute digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, and content) to generate leads and support business growth.
  • Manage social media channels, including Twitter and LinkedIn, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create engaging content and marketing collateral to attract and nurture leads.
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimize strategies to increase conversion rates.

 

Cross Collaboration:

  • Work across the Sum Vivas team to schedule and coordinate meetings with potential clients to support the sales team and advance business opportunities. Additionally work closely with the Directors to align strategies and maximise business growth opportunities.

 

Experience & Skills Required

 

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, in a B2B or tech environment.
  • Proven track record in generating leads and closing sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Experience managing social media accounts and implementing digital marketing strategies.

 

Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Confident with new business outreach
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sales funnel optimization.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant experience
  • Certifications in digital marketing, sales, or business development are a plus.

 

Remuneration

  • Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 annually (based on experience).
  • Performance Bonuses: Up to 10% of the base salary based on achieving sales and business development targets.
