We’re a leading education charity. We believe education is the most powerful tool to help a child fulfil their potential. We train brilliant graduates to become teachers and leaders in the schools where they’re needed most. And we’ve already improved the life chances of over two million pupils.  

Our Taster Programmes are exclusively for students in their first, second or penultimate year of university study. Across two days, you’ll: 
 

• Attend personal development and leadership skills sessions with our expert facilitators  
• Develop transferable skills all employers look for, giving your CV a real boost 
• Discover what it’s like to teach, including planning and delivering your own mini lesson 
• Receive personalised one-to-one feedback 
• Network with our team, our partners and likeminded peers

You’ll also learn more about Teach First and our mission to end educational inequality. Plus, once you’re ready to apply, you'll be able to fast-track through the application process for the Training Programme, our two-year graduate scheme. 

Taster Programmes take place outside of university term time, during Christmas, Easter and Summer breaks. You can choose to join virtually or in-person in London, where travel, accommodation and food costs are covered by Teach First.
