Sales Executive - early careers opportunity

Role: Sales Executive

Location: London or Sunbury (Kinly operate hybrid working allowing a mix of home/office working)

Salary: To £28,000 plus OTE & company benefits, plus an excellent sales training programme

As we continue to grow market share, we have created a new position that will suit someone looking to progress their career into sales.

This position will be a stepping stone into a sales career, with the opportunity to receive a minimum of one year’s training, enabling you to develop into an account executive at Kinly.

This is an ideal platform for an early careers candidate, to be responsible for working with the sales team on a variety of tasks, with the common goal of nurturing and maintaining existing customer relationships as well as contributing to Kinly winning new business.

You will be coached, mentored, and supported and learn all aspects of Kinly’s business operations, which will involve spending time with different business units, with the aim of making you a well-rounded salesperson, both technically and commercially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team on day-to-day activity such as quotes and proposals
  • Build relationship with Kinly’s supplier and partner network
  • Assist the sales team in generating new business opportunities by conducting research on potential customers and identifying key decision-makers
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of sales materials, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the company's CRM system
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and keep abreast of industry trends and developments

Skills & experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for sales and a desire to learn about sales processes and techniques
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and proactive
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Keen to explore opportunities for further education through Corporate Learning or Degree Apprenticeship (subject to academic qualifications)
