This is a newly created role within our Marketing and German Squad Team, giving the right candidate the opportunity to make an instant impact.

 

Reporting into the Head of Trading and German Growth Hacker, this role is responsible for creating a best in class customer experience that delivers against our brand values and the needs of our current and new customers. You will work alongside our Trading & Merchandising team, managing the PPC marketing and Trading functions of one of our key stores - Germany.

 

A key part of your role will be delivering a synergistic marketing strategy, bringing together our key acquisition channel and aligning this with projects to help drive conversion rate, gross profit and ultimately revenue across our product range.

 

This role requires a strong entrepreneurial flair, a really great understanding of ecommerce trading techniques, a passion for data and a real ability to think outside of the box when it comes to user experience and what creates a world class, unbeatable, unique customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

As the German marketing expert, you’ll be responsible for driving growth in our German market.

 

This includes but is not limited to:

 

  • Be a central pillar within our Marketing Team, working alongside the team to deliver our ambitious monthly, quarterly and yearly country targets.
  • Be responsible for delivering all country KPIs relating to GP, Revenue and Average Order Value.
  • Monitoring and Optimising all PPC performance campaigns, optimising daily budgets and strategy to ensure key targets are met.
  • Ensuring perfect execution of the Trading Plan in line with the marketing calendar as agreed with the Global Head of Trading.
  • Executing onsite projects to deliver increased Conversion Rates in line with the Global Head of Trading’s Roadmap.
  • Communication of all PPC and Trading performance metrics across Germany.
  • Be responsible for the daily management of our ecommerce websites, making daily optimisations based on past learnings whilst promoting our brand values.
  • To be conscious of and accountable for and supportive of the rest of the business in driving targeted YoY Growth and Revenue.
  • To work alongside the Global Head of Trading to drive new customer acquisition across our DE store.
  • You’ll be targeted to deliver real time, short term and long-term objectives. Through a commercial mindset backed up by your incredible ability to build lasting relationships at speed, you’ll look to improve on results month on month as you take a bigger piece of the market share as your channel evolves. You’ll look to consistently deliver conversion rate, manage availability whilst seeking to improve GP and AOV metrics.
  • Whilst you'll be analytical by nature, your understanding of brand management and focus on the customer will be a key driver in the way you manage our brand proposition with integrity and passionate focus on the customers perception and experience.

Immediate Responsibilities and Hot Projects

 

Plot, Plan and Deliver on the following

 

  • Identify areas of Gross Profit Growth across our German market.
  • Implement new campaigns in PPC PLA and Non Brand Channels to drive revenue growth.
  • Working alongside the Global Head of Trading to improve SEO performance.
  • Execution of all Email marketing campaigns, monitoring performance and providing continual optimisation.

 

Day-day responsibilities

 

  • Constant management & delivery of key performance targets within your channels
  • Roll out of agreed strategy in your channels
  • Real time monitoring of channel performance, coordinating with trading teams to deliver to target
  • Constant identification of new areas of opportunity, conducting trails and driving growth
  • Supporting our trading team and performance team by working closely to ensure there’s cohesion between off site and on-site marketing and a gold standard journey for our customers
  • Ahead of the curve industry knowledge of your channel in order to capitalise on first to market growth and opportunity
  • Effective and relevant reporting to your line managers and CMO

Essential

  • German Language speaking and written skills
  • Proven Analytical Skills
  • Proven experience working within a marketing team
  • Proven track record of delivering to target and exceeding business goals
  • Experience working for an Ecommerce FMCG business
  • Experienced in google analytics
  • Expert using excel
