Project Assistant - International Sport Events
Location: Marseille, Bouches du Rhone, France
Corporate Sport Organisation (CSO) is an events agency specialising in the organisation of corporate sports events.
The company organises 2 types of event:
- the Mundiavocat: the Lawyers' Football World Cup, a biennial international event attended by 3,000 people, and featuring 4 continental cups during odd-numbered years (EuroLawyers, AmericaLawyers, AsiaLawyers, Tournoi des avocats francophones).
- the World Medical and Health Games (MEDIGAMES): an annual multi-sport event for the health professionals.
Internship description
Reporting to the Event Manager, you will be involved in the organisation of the continental tournaments affiliated to MUNDIAVOCAT and/or the MEDIGAMES, which will be held during the first semester of 2025, respectively in Asia, Europe and America, and will be responsible for around thirty teams, divided according to the languages spoken.
You will be in direct contact with each captain or participant and will manage the registration files of your teams, from the moment the team registers to the moment they are installed on site.
This includes: creating and managing the team in the database, requesting and carefully checking the documents required for registration, monitoring and following up on payments, updating information on the progress of the file, ensuring that the booking of the contingent has been sent to the Event Manager, and providing information to the participants.
On site, you will be helping with setting up the event and organising logistics, as well as welcoming the teams. A 2-week trip may be required.
As a team player, you will be rigorous, flexible, enthusiastic and dynamic, and you will enjoy dealing with customers.
Candidate profile
- You are currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in sports, events, languages or business at a University or Business School.
- You have an excellent level of Spanish, Italian or French and ideally a good knowledge of a third language.
- You are organised, rigorous, dynamic, adaptable and able to work in a team.
- You enjoy dealing with clients.
- You are known for your interpersonal skills and autonomy.
- You have a good knowledge of office automation tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Ideally, you have some experience in marketing or event project management, or have had regular contact with clients.
Intern allowance: Approximately €639.45 per month
