Business Consultant for an ESG and Climate Advisory Startup

Responsibilities:

Our client seeks a motivated individual to join as Employee #2, working directly with the Founder/CEO. This is a unique opportunity to support the CEO in all areas of business, from developing and executing strategy to handling marketing, finance, and business operations.

  • Assist in developing and executing strategies across marketing, finance, and operations
  • Support go-to-market strategies and marketing activities
  • Participate in hiring and talent acquisition processes
  • Conduct research on ESG and climate regulations to identify business opportunities
  • Collaborate with partners to drive impactful change and form strategic alliances
  • Contribute to overall business growth and success by assisting with finance and operational tasks
  • Help deliver consulting work for clients


 

About You:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Strong interest in ESG, climate change, and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

  •  6-month internship
  • Preferably full-time, if not at least 3 days per week
  • Start date: January 2025
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • Working arrangement: hybrid role
  • Monthly allowance provided to cover expenses
