At Bidwells, we are driven by our mission to provide the UK’s most sustainable and innovative property advice. For over 185 years, we have been at the forefront of real estate and have expanded our influence from our Cambridge head office across the Golden Triangle and beyond.

Bidwells is a values-led business with a deep commitment to social value. We have chosen to certify as a B Corporation (B-Corp) to demonstrate our commitment to using our business as a force for good, increasing the positive and minimising the negative impacts of our operations and services.

Are you a recent graduate interested in working in the world of Operational Living?

If so, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Graduate to join our Operational Living team in September 2025, based at our London office.

Our Operational Living team help our clients navigate this dynamic landscape, ensuring that projects align with emerging tenant preferences and market trends.

The team ensure to assess market potential, creating compelling resident experiences whilst optimising operational efficiency, and maximising investment returns across a range of asset classes – build-to-rent, co-living, student accommodations, and senior living developments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Research and production of Market Intelligence and Build to Rent Appraisal Reports: local demographics, supply and demand projections, identification of target market, current and forecasted rental projections, etc.
  • Writing advice on locations and their key attributes at both macro and micro level geographies and demographics within those geographies.
  • Support and maintenance of our internal databases and datasets.
  • Interrogation and mining of data from our internal and external databases.
  • Support the tracking of major development funding deals and analysis of the market growth.
  • Support tracking of Built to Rent development pipelines.
  • Support the tracking of open and operating Build to Rent developments.
  • Support the production and drafting of Build to Rent investment appraisal reports.
  • Drafting reports to be submitted as part of a planning application, such as Market Justification Reports or Site/Estate Management Plans.
  • Stay aware of current market Build to Rent market trends and datasets in which will aid growth and services provided to clients.

About You:

  • A basic understanding of the Build to Rent or PRS sector (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in using mapping tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree – Research/Geography/Real Estate/Construction/Economics, etc.
  • A keen interest in building a career in the Build to Rent / property sector.

Why Bidwells?

We’re a different kind of business. Whilst we’re a major player in the property sector, Bidwells remains a privately-owned, independent Partnership, with an inclusive, entrepreneurial culture. We give our people autonomy and take the time to listen.
