We offer an intensive two-year learning journey that will support you to unleash your potential. You will get broad exposure across CLP’s operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other locations, acquire the skills and tools to prepare you for leading energy transition and digitalisation projects, as well as build a strong network with other graduates. When you have completed your programme with high performance, you will be offered a position in one of our engineering departments, leading to a career as an Engineering Manager and beyond. Many of our senior leaders began their careers in our Graduate Trainee Programme.

Who are we looking for?
- Final year students or recent graduates with Bachelor Degree or above (with no more than 3 years' work experience) majoring in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Overseas universities (1)
- Strong academic achievements
- Passionate in developing a professional engineering career in the energy industry with the mission of providing sustainable energy solutions to create value for shareholders, customers, employees and the wider community
- A good team player with leadership potential to work in diverse teams
- Proactive and self-motivated with agile, innovative and commercial mindset to resolve problems
- Strong capability in data analysis, digital solutions and latest technologies
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Willing to take up shift and/or standby duties if necessary
Remarks:
(1) Participants with academic qualifications recognised by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) may undergo HKIE accredited Scheme “A” Training. For graduates studying outside Hong Kong, please check with HKIE for information on Scheme “A” accreditation programme.
