Outreach Project Worker

37.5 hours per week- Full-Time Permanent Contract
£23,497 per year

We are looking for detail oriented and task focused professionals to join our Liverpool team in providing support to adult survivors of human trafficking and modern-day slavery in the North West.

SJOG Outreach NW supports clients across the whole North West region and have two offices based in Liverpool and Manchester.

The role will consist of managing a caseload of 15 to 18 clients in their recovery journey and

In addition, Project Workers are expected to write regular concise, accurate, objective and detailed reports on the status of their clients’ recovery for the Home Office.

Outreach Project Workers are the professionals who interact the most with our clients and will be required to advocate on their behalf and facilitate communication with third parties involved with their cases.

An ideal candidate will have a great aptitude to work with vulnerable people, have knowledge of record keeping, be highly organised and be an excellent communicator.

As every case is unique, each client will have different recovery needs to be considered from a person-centred perspective. Furthermore, our clients all come from different social and cultural backgrounds; therefore, we are looking for staff who can be open-minded and sensitive to their needs and necessities.

The cases that we work with include:

• Complex mental health needs
• Addiction
• Asylum seekers
• Refugees
• Sexual violence
• Domestic abuse

Hybrid working is offered for this role, but you would be required to be in the office certain days of the week (this can be arranged according to your preference), and more frequently during the probation/training period. Candidates must be located in the Merseyside region, as face to face office appointments with clients can be requested on demand.
