Garment Fitter (no experience required)

We require garment fitters to work in our Mnchester Salford office, on a temporary ongoing basis from October 2024 to January 2025 The successful applicants will work in a team of fitters to select, measure and record correct uniform size for clients in a public sector contract, whilst giving the best possible fitting service.

​Responsibilities
 

• Responsible for selecting the garments of clients based on choice and preferences, including desired fit
• Determining the customer's measurement including body size, and understanding if additional requirements are needed.
• Meet and greet and assign and escort customers to dressing rooms,  be friendly and courteous.
• Carry out basic record keeping and administration.
• Working with up to 40 customers per day, recording details in a timely and organised fashion

This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.

We are able to offer competitive rates of pay both on a self-employed or temporary payroll basis, and have excellent holiday provision. Successful applicants may secure work with us on a longer term basis. Part Time may be considered.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within clothing retail
  Previous experience in basic administration
• Ability to work 9- 4.30 Monday- Thursday and 8am to 2.30pm Friday

Desirable

• ​GCSE English and Mathematics
