About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver a behavioural science project with a growing and dynamic team at IGHI – The Fleming Initiative, as a Julia Anderson Trainee.

On Monday 23 September at 6pm a webinar will be held to provide you with more information on the programme, the training positions on offer and useful advice for your application. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions. We highly recommend you join this webinar. The purpose of the Julia Anderson trainee programme is to provide individuals who are at the early stage of their career with hands-on experience working on projects or activities conducted by the Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI).

The Julia Anderson Fleming Initiative Trainee will work within the Behavioural Science workstream on the next study in this series. Based upon previous round table discussions, we anticipate this being a patient / public facing project focusing on the use of antibiotics and encouraging individuals to finish a course of antibiotics if prescribed.

  • You will work with the team to co-facilitate co-design workshops with the public and key stakeholders.
  • You will contribute to the co-design of a range of behavioural science informed interventions to take forwards to evaluate in a trial / experiment.
  • You will work with the Fleming Initiative team and the Behavioural Insights Team to design the best way to evaluate our interventions. This could be a real world evaluation or an online trial.
