BWB Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programme is the perfect place for you if you are an ambitious and passionate individual. Our programme offers you the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and respected engineers and consultants in the industry and help you reach your full potential through a technical syllabus & skills development programme. You will receive independent mentoring, support through to Chartership and the opportunity to gain responsibility on a range of exciting projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Learning to support the delivery of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Masterplan input, and other technical reports to support planning applications/transport related projects.
- Fully supported by our experienced team of Transport Planners and technicians you will be working on a variety of projects that allow you to develop your practical skillset.
- Progress to work independently on larger and more challenging projects.
- Learning to have an understanding and ability to apply appropriate technical standards, such as: Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, Manual for Streets and Local Authority Design Guides.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant degree in an analytical subject such as engineering, geography, mathematics, or in your final year studying towards this
- Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better and how you can assist with such matters
- Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations
- Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress
- A problem solver with strong communication skills
- Personal organisational skills, and the ability to work well within a team, willing to contribute accordingly
- Right to Work and live in the UK
- A knowledge of AutoCAD and other industry software where possible
- Applicants with some work experience in the Engineering or Transport industry, either through work experience or as part of an academic course, are ideally sought
