Graduate Commercial Surveyor - Property Management

We are seeking a passionate graduate to join our Commercial team, based at our head office in Cambridge in September 2025. 

 

Bidwells’ commercial division is a market leader across the Oxford-Cambridge Arc and the UK’s flourishing Science & Technology sector. Our offices in Oxford, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Norwich cover the Southeast and East of England. 

 

Built on a history of advising the Oxbridge Colleges on their endowments we now advise on office and labs, industrial, alternative residential and major mixed-use development projects across some of the UK’s most exciting markets.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

We work on some impressive projects and instructions with some outstanding clients. 

 

The specifics of what you do will depend on what team you are based in, be that Property Management, Asset & Investment Management or Agency. Duties will vary by team but will involve some aspects of the below:

 

  • Undertaking research, analysing data and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Undertaking property inspections and/or viewings.
  • Liaising with our clients and tenants, attending client meetings and contributing to pitches.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant property and health and safety legislation, maintaining property records on relevant software.
  • Working collaboratively with Bidwells multidisciplinary teams to maximise our clients’ assets.
  • Appraising property assets, supporting with the of undertaking valuations, lease renewals and rent reviews.
  • Supporting with the preparation of marketing strategies.
  • Supporting with the coordination of transactions through to completion.

 

About You:

 

  • 2:1 in a RICS-accredited cognate degree or equivalent preferred, but applications from candidates with non-cognate degrees will also be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate with a good level of skill in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work on own proactive initiative.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and systems along with good administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Good team-player with a proactive and positive attitude. 

 

Most of our graduate roles involve being out and about, visiting sites and meeting clients. Therefore, we ask that applicants have a full driving licence and access to their own car.
