Community Mental Health Support Worker
Ellesmere Port and Neston Community Mental Health Team are looking for a Clinical Support worker to join our busy team. Based in Ellesmere Port and Neston we cover a wide geographical are supporting people to live as independently as possible in their communities. Working alongside member of the multidisciplinary team you will prove holistic, person centred care for people with severe and enduring mental illnesses. We work with adults aged 18 and over and support those with both functional and organic illnesses.

We facilitate access to a combination of support, to provide the best chance to improve well-being and quality of life in the longer term. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user's care plan under the guidance of the multi-disciplinary team inclusive of occupational therapists, psychiatric nurses, therapists, psychologists, and consultant psychiatrists.
This is a varied role and applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, person-centred approaches to care and utmost respect and compassion for the people we serve. You will work as part of a large team of multi skilled, experienced colleagues who will be able to support to deliver safe and effective care. Opportunities for training and development are encouraged and offered within the team.
