Finance Associate
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Finance Associate for a broad ranging finance role to join our UK team, reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to continuously learn in a fast paced environment where you’ll have plenty of impact and visibility across the business!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts payable function, resolving queries, reconciling supplier accounts/statements, payment runs (twice a month), employee expenses, credit card reconciliations and ad hoc key supplier payments.
- Month end process, including balance sheet reconciliations and daily bank recs
- Quarterly UK VAT submissions and Research & Development submissions
- Communication with a variety of key stakeholders in the business, ensuring payroll runs smoothly
- Ad hoc projects as and when required by the VP Finance and Group Financial Controller
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate with 0-2 years of experience (quantitative subject preferred)
- A strong work ethic who is driven and wants to progress within a broad finance role
- A keen desire to seek a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- The ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- A open and inquisitive mindset
- Good time management, analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- A team player who is results driven
