What does being a GoTime Tuition tutor look like?

  • Pay of £12-£15 per hour/lesson depending on year groups taught
  • Flexible schedule: you decide when and how you work
  • Remote teaching via Google Meet

What skills and experience do you need to be a GoTime Tuition tutor?

  • You love to teach! You enjoy passing on your knowledge to other people and do so in a motivated and enthusiastic way.
  • You can effectively teach any of the following or more: Maths, English, Science, French, Spanish, 11 Plus.
  • MUST be a University undergraduate student or recent graduate (Graduated 2022 onwards)!
  • Have a valid DBS certificate (or willing to purchase one)
  • You must reside in the UK 
  • The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience working with Online video platforms (not essential)
  • You are highly organised, have tremendous time management skills and show a high level of initiative and independence.
  • Good communication: you are professional and serious in dealing with people and can speak English fluently.
  • Bonus: let us know if you have previous tutoring experience

Tasks

  • Professional and organised supervision of own students
  • Preparing lessons and teaching powerpoint (with additional resources from us)
  • Preparation and follow-up of teaching materials such as homework
  • Writing/emailing feedback after each session
  • Independent organisation of tutoring appointments
