Poppets Teacher (Early Years)

Brilliant, inspirational and energetic, you will instil your passion for the performing arts into the hearts and minds of the youngest people who attend our academies.

 

Applicants should have experience both in the performing arts and working with children aged 4 – 6 years.

PQA Selby has a rigorous selection process, and the identity of all successful candidates will be checked thoroughly. Successful candidates will be offered freelance contracts which are conditional upon the candidate having or obtaining (we can provide your check, then you must register with the update service) a current DBS and the taking up of 2 references.

Job Requirements

A performing arts background which includes training in acting, singing and dancing.

Experience of working with early years students

 

All teachers will ideally have the below qualities:

Outstanding communication skills.

Fun/sense of humour.

Genuine passion for their subject and for teaching.

Punctuality and professionalism.

 

Job Responsibilities

You will be leading performing arts workshops with children from 4 - 6 years creating performance opportunities both live and in recorded media.
