SALARIED PGCE MATHS TRAINING ROLE

I am recruiting for a multi academy trust in Liverpool, a salaried PGCE role – it requires someone with a Maths degree (this must be UK awarded)

This route to becoming a fully qualified teacher, allows you to learn ‘on the job’ and earn a salary while you train towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). It’s an employment-based route for high quality graduates, typically but not essential, with at least three years’ transferable work history. You will receive an unqualified teacher's salary from your school, and the cost of your training will be covered. This is for a September start

Duties:
- Educate and engage students in Mathematics lessons
- Provide individual tutoring and mentoring to students requiring additional support in Maths.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and materials for special education needs.
- Utilise strong communication skills to effectively convey Mathematical concepts to students of varying abilities.

Requirements:
- Possession of a UK Maths Based Degree
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and special education practices.
- Ability to tutor and mentor students effectively.
- Effective communication skills to engage with students and colleagues

- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
