Pharmacist

We are looking to recruit a Pharmacist to join our growing team in Workington, Cumbria.

This role is available on a full time basis, working 42.5 hours a week covering Monday – Fridays with Saturday cover optional.

We are looking for a pharmacist who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic and above all passionate about making a difference. As a company we take pride in our level of care for our patients and the high standard of customer service and want our pharmacist to share these values.

You will be supported in your role by an excellent team consisting of a team supervisor, dispensers and health care assistant. We are also in the process of training a checking dispenser to help lighten this load for the pharmacist. You will also receive support and guidance from our head office team who are there to make your job simpler and more pleasant.

We are really proud to be one of the front runners in the area for services and want our pharmacist to be driven in this regard. We currently offer all advanced services (NMS, Hypertension case finding, Flu and Covid vaccinations) as well as locally commissioned services (UTI, Smoking cessation, EHC etc).

You will be entrusted with leading the team and your input and expertise will always be appreciated in setting the pharmacy's direction and goals.

We offer a very competitive package including an excellent basic pay as well as a generous service bonus as well as payment of your registration fees and ongoing training. Rate of pay can be negotiated based on experience. We are able to apply for a visa if you are an overseas candidate however you must already have completed the OSPAP course and have a GPhC registration number.
