Graduate Quality Co-Ordinator
Cooneen Group have an opportunity for a Graduate Quality Co-Ordinator to work at a group level, based at at our Fivemiletown production site. The Quality Co-Ordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all Quality Assurance and Control procedures and processes for the group are monitored and adhered to. Some travel throughout Europe and Asia will be expected. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor an effective quality control procedure incorporating inline and AQL requirements at source. Review of effectiveness on a monthly basis.
- Monitor on a weekly basis the overseas quality team to ensure efficient and effective scheduling on audit schedules and workload. Assess quarterly workload and offer suggestions as required to the Director of Quality and Sourcing.
- Ensure all Quality Assurance and Control processes are SOPs and Work Instructions are updated and communicated to all relevant departments.
- Supervise the NCR log with all respective teams ensuring timely closure of all issues raised, quarterly analysis of results and review of effectiveness.
- Identifying trends in quality issues, communicating concerns, and escalating as appropriate. Work with the overseas quality teams and 3rd party inspectors to agreed corrective action plans as required.
- Ensure that all material and product testing is carried out correctly and to agreed internal and customer requirements. Ensure that digitally signed test reports are available on request and filed correctly.
- Analyze annually trends in test results and offer suggestions for review internally and with key customers.
- Create a Supplier Quality Rating System and review Suppliers against the rating system on a annual basis. Review required actions with the Director of Quality and Sourcing.
- Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility. Work on SOPs and Work Instructions with the Director of Quality and Sourcing.

Requirements
Essential:
- Third level qualification (degree, HND, Apprenticeship etc.) in fashion, clothing or apparel; OR experience gained in apparel manufacturing.
- Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes
- Driving license and willingness to travel throughout EU and Asia.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of pattern making
- Knowledge of material testing, product inspection, eg AQL
- Knowledge of QMS
- Experience driving change through a business, through SOP’s.
