Teacher of Science
Justteachers Teaching Agency are recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Science for a Bradford Secondary School. The school has dedicated staff who are enthusiastic about learning and committed to the young people at the school and their educational and spiritual journey.
This is long-term role to commence in September 2024 and will be a permanent position for the right Teacher of Science.
The school are looking to appoint an inspirational and creative teacher to join their Science department who has the potential and desire to become an outstanding classroom practitioner that can develop a passion for Science within their learners.
The role requires the successful Teacher of Science to teach across all age and ability ranges and KS3 and KS4. They will be responsible for ensuring all learners are engaged in their lessons by delivering quality teaching and ensuring that outcomes are continuously improving.
The successful Teacher of Science will have:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Strong and secure subject knowledge in Science up to GCSE
- Resent and relevant teaching experience up to KS4
- The ability to communicate orally and in writing to students, parents and colleagues
- Experience providing good quality assessments using formative and summative methods
- Proven experience providing interactive and engaging lessons
- A passion for teaching Science
- Two school/ education-based references
