Multimedia Account Executive

Eskenzi is looking for an outgoing team player to work closely with the senior team to help further develop an in-depth understanding of clients and their businesses.  In this PR Account Executive graduate job, you will be working across several accounts within cybersecurity technology. 

 

Your responsibility will be to deliver primarily media relations support, including drafting briefing notes, conducting research, liaising with journalists and clients, tracking media coverage and reporting, with a potential additional focus for this role on developing multimedia content for Eskenzi PR and Eskenzi PR clients, such as social media collateral and video testimonials at Eskenzi PR trade shows. You will have plenty of exposure to marketing and content, as well as the opportunity to develop your communication skills by liaising with the media, journalists, and clients. Strong writing skills are a must, and a positive and outgoing attitude!

The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a good attention to detail. They will be a team player, eager to learn new skills, and want to actively contribute to the success of both the agency and its clients. Attitude and personality are more important than experience! 

Key responsibilities for your clients include:

  • Understand the monthly deliverables for each of your clients and work with other team members to ensure they are being met, including:
    • Ensure relevant features are pitched in a timely fashion.
    • Managing the process of content creation and placement
    • Securing interviews
    • Managing rapid responses and securing coverage
    • Produce client reports, with input from account teams, in a timely fashion.

Additionally, Account Executives should be ready and willing to: 

  • Feel personal responsibility to ensure that nothing ‘falls through the gaps’ for any client.
  • Manage teammates’ expectations about workloads and anticipated results.
  • Establish strong working relationships with your clients and feel confident making recommendations.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key media in the UK and other countries.
  • Help deliver projects and campaigns against briefs.
  • Keep your account team updated about how each client is doing each month.
  • Work with other team members to understand how workload is shared and different responsibilities.
  • Always stay focused on the quality of all work for all your clients, including written materials
  • Feel confident communicating each client’s key messages, whether through press releases, case studies, articles, or feature pitches.
  • By regularly reading our key press, both in the UK and overseas, staying up to date with what is going on in the IT security industry at large.
  • Feel able to identify what is and isn’t news and communicate that angle confidently and quickly in a press release, pitch, or over the phone.
  • Ensure clear and regular lines of communication with your account team and proactively keep him/her informed of work in progress, share/generate ideas, and give your own views and perspective on what to do next, etc.
  • Produce external or internal reports as required.

Job Requirements 

  • A 2.2 degree or above from a top university in a relevant field (Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, Public Relations, etc)
  • A Masters degree in a relevant field (Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, Public Relations etc) 
  • Basic to intermediate ability to work independently on video production and editing, including the use of Adobe Premiere Pro/Photoshop/Canva for editing 
  • Excellent A-level (or equivalent) results and educational experience 
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • A high level of creativity and ability to think outside the box

Salary: £25,000+ (with extremely quick progression for the right candidate)  


Interview process - 3 rounds

  1. Online interview with Account Director, 
  2. Online interview with Founder Yvonne, followed by a small written assessment
  3. Final face-to-face interview
