Your tasks include as follows:
We do practical community development work in African societies. We work in schools, companies, and various target groups, such as women's development groups and environmental tasks.
We work with NGO consortiums such as UNICEF, UN, etc., for specific targets to develop the Tanzanian society.
We work with issues such as Human Rights advocacy.
We can tailor your tasks according to your internship preferences, such as your preferred focus, studies, preferences, and previous experience.
The internship outcome is to learn to use your studies and experience to work in a developing country's conditions.
Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks to 12 months. Usually, an internship is 2-3 months long. The placement starting dates are flexible.
Academic-level team leaders supervise your internship daily. We monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you complete your tasks successfully.
We can take students in all year round as all programs are ongoing. Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower your daily work with the community.
The typical morning tasks include practical fieldwork in the schools and communities, and afternoons are for planning, reporting, and social media visibility functions.
The Benefits and Perks are as follows:
Accommodation with breakfast and dinner is EUR 175 per week and is a personal expense. However, the cost drops to EUR 125 weekly after the first 13 weeks.
Airport transfers from and to EUR 120 are a personal expense.
A charity student or volunteer VISA is USD 50 and is a personal expense. Less than a 1-year multiple-entry charity VISA is USD 250.
We pay you a USD 100 per month stipend. It is small but 2x Tanzania's national minimum wage. The minimum participation time for assistance is four weeks.
Flights are a personal expense.
The local transport program in Tanzania is a personal expense, but it is small if needed.
You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable tours and safaris.
