Graphic Designer

Role Summary

  • Responsibilities: You will be involved in a wide range of creative projects for our clients within the healthcare sector, from the initial concept development to full production, allowing for real autonomy and creativity
  • Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and previous experience

About the Role

As a Graphic Designer in our Creative team, you will be involved in a wide range of creative projects for our clients within the healthcare sector. This may include brand development, the design and layout of infographics as well as event materials. Depending on your skillset, you may also be involved in digital projects such as the design of interactive materials for exhibitions, video editing, animations, and the creation of eLearning modules.

Where possible, you will be involved in all stages of a project, from the initial concept development to full production, allowing for real autonomy and creativity. This will involve collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients at the outset of projects to determine the scope and purpose. You will then produce materials to high standards of clarity, presentation, and innovation, providing technical insight and guidance where required.

At Costello Medical, our in-house Creative team are passionate about data visualisation and optimising the way scientific content is communicated. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with project managers and clients at the outset of projects to determine the design scope, purpose, and the strategic approach to be taken
  • Clearly communicating project requirements to project teams and providing input on any technical queries, where required
  • Ensuring that materials are delivered in a timely manner, and on budget, with a key focus on the high quality and professional appearance of all deliverables
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service and quality of deliverables under multiple competing demands
