Junior Content Writer

Job description

We’re looking to hire a Junior Content Writer to help us develop engaging, creative, and high-quality content and strategic communications assets for our clients in the private and public sectors.

As a member of GTG's Content Division, you’ll work extremely closely with the project management teams to understand the strategic objectives and communications needs of our high-profile clients, conduct research on various fields and sectors, set up content strategies, and develop high-quality content assets.

You’ll work on a wide range of projects, including presentations, brochures, economic reports, websites, social media, video scripts, communications strategies, and more, coordinating with the project consultants to ensure every content deliverable is finished to an extremely high standard and delivered to agreed deadlines.

We work on key strategic projects for our clients, spending plenty of time to ensure that our content is accurate, engaging, compelling, timely and relevant to the client’s objectives. Strategic thinking, curiosity for new topics and passion for accuracy are the key competencies we are looking for.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the project teams to understand the client’s requirements
  • Assist in client interviews, workshops, and strategy sessions
  • Research industry-related data, trends, topics, and news
  • Assist in building content strategies across multiple communication platforms (website, social media, press, reports, presentations, publications, events)
  • Writing content targeting different audiences and platforms
  • Prepare well-structured content outlines and draft content outputs including but not limited to reports, presentations, press releases, speeches, talking points, and web pages
  • Work with internal and external resources including sub-editors, designers, web developers, translators in the delivery of high-quality content
  • Create and draft social media content calendars
  • Provide project team members with editorial, creative, and technical support
  • Support the project teams in managing client expectations, timelines, and Gantt charts

Skills & Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, journalism, public relations or a relevant field
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create content that is engaging and compelling to the target audience
