3D Artist

General description of the role

As a 3D Artist at Emotech, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, including metahumans, hair, expression, clothing, props, and environments. You will work closely with our creative team to bring concepts to life and ensure visual excellence across our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and design realistic 3D assets, including metahumans, hair, expressions, clothing, props, environments, etc., using software such as ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, or similar tools.
  • Sculpt, retopologize, UV map, and texture 3D models with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Optimize 3D assets for performance and quality, using Unreal Engine 5 or other relevant tools.
  • Follow the production pipeline and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality and efficiency of work, as well as the overall look and feel of 3D assets.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 or other game engines.
  • A portfolio showcasing your 3D skills, including examples of 3D models, textures, and materials.
  • Proficiency in ZBrush and/or Marvelous Designer, or other 3D sculpting tools.
  • Familiarity with Substance Painter or other texturing tools.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling principles and techniques, such as topology, UV mapping, normal maps, etc.
  • Experience with environment lighting for human characters or other lighting techniques.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
