Assistant Graphic Designer / Artworker

Planit, a place-based design practice, is seeking an Artworker / Assistant Graphic Designer to join our team. Our headquarters is in Altrincham, but we’d also consider appointments in our Liverpool or London studios.

We are an Employee-Owned business, committed to standing alongside clients, communities, and nature to shape meaningful places and explore regenerative futures. As one of the first B Corps of our type in the world, we prioritise people, planet, and profit equally, and welcome candidates who share these values.

If you are looking to be creative for positive purpose, this opportunity will be of interest to you.

Our teams of Landscape Architects and Urban Designers design an array of projects, and you’ll have the agility to work across these, generating and bringing content together. You’ll also utilise material within internal and external communications, helping raise awareness and the practice’s profile through newsletters, our website, and socials posts.

To qualify for this position, you should have a qualification in creative or graphic design, or have relevant experience, and be proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Experience in social media, illustration, videographer and photographic abilities, an understanding of WordPress, along with other creative skills, are of interest to us. You should enjoy working as a team and in a collaborative studio environment, be self-motivated, engaged, and resourceful.

We support our team by providing benefits that include a minimum of 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible start and finish times, hybrid and flexible working, company pension, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, support with professional fees, CPD, and study trip allowance. There are opportunities to work and collaborate across our UK wide studios.

We are an inclusive workplace that values diversity, and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

If you are interested in this position, please upload an original cover letter, CV, and details of your experience (max file size 10mb) to apply.

We do not accept postal copies or applications from agencies. We also welcome applications for any future roles that may arise in Liverpool, Leeds, London, and Standish near Stroud.

Closing Date: 21 April
