Design Engineer
Drawmer has been manufacturing Professional Audio equipment for recording studios since 1983. We have a global customer base, and a reputation for quality, handmade products at affordable prices.
The current products are purely analogue, with mic pre-amps, compression, saturation and EQ, plus monitor controllers, the main stay of our studio effects tools. We also have a range of noise level limiters, speaker protectors and distribution amps for nightclubs, conferencing and exhibition applications.
We are seeking an additional Design Engineer to support the current design team. The Engineer would work closely with the Technical Manager to help enhance and expand the product range, and also bring digital control & functions to the feature sets.
The role will require independent research of features and a familiarity of products offered by other audio equipment manufacturers. You may also be occasionally required to attend trade shows and exhibitions in the UK and abroad.
Role requirements:
- A genuine interest in Music Production & Audio Equipment
- An understanding of Analogue circuit design
- An understanding of Analogue circuit schematics & PCB layout
- An understanding of Digital design (Firmware development, USB, Bluetooth etc)
- Full competence of using a PC, Windows & email
Starting Salary:
£25K - £35K depending on experience, to be reviewed at 6 months, and 12 months
20 days paid holiday, plus statutory public holidays
37.5 hours per week, flexitime (between 7am & 5pm, Monday to Friday)
