Private Tutor
Role Purpose
We are actively seeking qualified, experienced, and passionate teachers who are eager to deliver one-on-one private tutoring sessions, both in-person and online, across various curriculums including IB, British, American, French, and Indian(CBSE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring.
- Work with the student to develop a tutoring plan that fits the student’s individual needs.
- Review course content, explain how to solve problems, help prepare for a test, and ensure a friendly and productive learning environment.
- Work with students to improve their skills in certain subjects.
- Design, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the curriculum.
- Evaluate students' progress and discuss the results with students and/or their parents.
- Identify students' individual learning needs.
Qualifications
- Highly knowledgeable and experienced in the subject matter and curriculum
- A minimum of 2 years of official teaching and/or tutoring experience in a reputable educational institution.
- Fluent in the language in which the course should be taught.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to encourage and motivate students and communicate their progress to parents.
- Able to present lessons, explain rules and encourage discussion.
- A teaching diploma is a plus.
