Marketing Assistant

We are looking to add an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our Absolute Ignite Graduate Training program for 2024. 

Absolute Ignite is a full-salaried Graduate Trainee Scheme that supports the development of passionate graduates within our industry. Absolute Ignite will consist of Creatives, Developers, Client Services, and Marketers who fast-track their development with dedicated 1 to1 support from the main agency's senior leadership team as well as training sessions with external training companies.

 

Working with

  • Internal: agency management team; client service team; creative team; development team; and Finance.
  • External: Print/production companies, third parties i.e., freelancers, copywriters, video production, photography, illustrators, etc. Liaising with external software providers/systems for workflow/scheduling purposes i.e., Teamwork / Synergist, etc

Responsibilities

  • Social Media - Manage the day-to-day running of the agency's social media profiles and presences, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and any additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Brand Management – Support and maintain the agency’s brand image through consistent messaging across all marketing streams.
  • PR & Press - Create and circulate press releases to appropriate editorial contacts and collate a press file and media list.
  • Campaign & Content Planning – Assist the Marketing Manager in the planning, and executing of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and print.
  • Company Collateral - Responsible for coordinating the design and distribution of agency marketing collateral including posters, leaflets, and all internal stationery.
  • Competitor Analysis - Conduct research to identify competitors and review their activity.
  • Market Research - Assist in researching target markets, and spotting trends in and outside of the industry that can be considered within the yearly marketing plan.
  • Copywriting - Support the Marketing Manager with copywriting and proofing, ensuring every piece of work sent out by the marketing team is to the best standard possible.
  • Blogs & Articles – Contribute to the yearly content plan by planning and writing blogs and articles for the agency website, working with internal teams, and proactively searching for new content ideas relevant to our industry.
  • Events & exhibitions - Support the Marketing Manager on event planning and execution.
  • Monthly Reporting – Update and maintain monthly reports on social media and campaigns.
  • Customer Feedback - Take the lead on Google reviews and create internal initiatives to boost them yearly.
  • Internal Comms - Support the Marketing Manager with internal communications, staff meetings and marketing campaigns, including charity support and fundraising activities.
  • Website - Maintain and update the Company website and work with the development team to report on website traffic and activity.
  • Admin - With experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint you will be expected to support the business in creating marketing reports and collateral on an ad hoc basis
